Meet Mad Dog Madigan, the creative director of the Great Star Theater in San Francisco.
As an Award Winning Artist with over 20 years of experience in art direction and design, Mad Dog has created some of the most memorable and visually stunning events in the Bay Area. From immersive movie performances and giant hand-drawn murals, to custom photobooths and 3-dimensional signage, Mad Dog's inimitable creative genius has brought excitement and wonder to countless parties, festivals, and gatherings.
Mad Dog began his career in Los Angeles as the art director for legendary comic book artist Neal Adams, and went on to work on blockbuster movie campaigns for many of Hollywood's biggest studios, including "Men in Black," "Jumanji," and "Batman" He also designed the original merchandising and licensing program for Saban's "Mighty Morphin Power Rangers," launching a billion-dollar global marketing phenomenon.
In 1996, Mad Dog started his own design and consulting firm, Rabble Rouzer Studios, and became the creative director at Rockefeller Center in New York City, overseeing the re-branding campaign of the popular "Top of the Rock" observatory. Since moving to the Bay Area, Mad Dog has served as the artistic director for numerous events, including the Edwardian Ball, Vau de Vire Society, and Burning Man's Festival.
Mad Dog has also produced many of his own successful shows and dance parties at the Great Star Theater, including the (A)Live Series of Immersive Movies, and the Prince "Sign-O-The Times Tribute Party."
